Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone. You don't need to be an athlete to practice the art, all it takes is an interest. Practictioners range from kids to seniors, male and female. Our philosophy is simple, emphasizing on technique over brute strength, the ability that any individual is capable of mastering. We encourage our students to train often, as it nourishes the body and mind. When students train and build confidence, it's enough to peak their interest in competing. Not interested in competing? No problem. Most students practice Jiu-Jitsu for self-defense, fitness, or because they simply enjoy the sport.

The intermediate phase is a link between fundamentals and advanced classes. Students are taking the instruction from Phase I and sharpening their skills to prepare for the advanced class. It is highly recommended to take this course in order to easily transition into the advanced class.
This is where it all comes together. The advanced class is the course to polish your game, the merging of new and old concepts. Students must complete a sufficient amount of classes in Phase I and Phase II before entering this course. Students will notice how easy it is to transition into the advanced course, after completing the necessary phases.

The Gi, aka kimono, is the required uniform we use to train at the academy . It is made with heavy duty material. The gi can be used to grab, control and choke your opponent. No-gi refers to training without the gi (shorts and t shirt). Both styles of training offer many benefits. We offer two No gi trainings a week.
